Warranty FAQs
Important information about warranty cover and making a claim.
What warranty does my product have?
Warranty cover differs between brands and products. Where the manufacturer has supplied warranty information, it will be displayed on the relevant product page.
Parts-only warranty
Under a parts-only warranty, replacement parts covered by the warranty are supplied free of charge. It is the customer’s responsibility and expense to arrange for a competent, qualified engineer to diagnose the fault and fit any replacement parts.
Parts and labour warranty
Where parts and labour cover applies, a refundable deposit may be required before an engineer attends the site. This may be retained if the fault is found to have resulted from misuse, normal wear and tear, inadequate maintenance or unsuitable operating conditions, including excessive ambient temperature.
If warranty details are not displayed on the product page, please contact us and we will confirm the available cover.
How do I make a warranty claim?
Begin by completing the warranty request form on this page. Please provide your contact details, order number, product information and a clear description of the problem.
For parts-only warranties
You will need to arrange for a qualified engineer to inspect the equipment and identify the faulty component. Please obtain a written service report explaining the diagnosis.
The report can be supplied with your claim or emailed to sales@empiresupplies.co.uk . Once the covered part has been approved and supplied, you will need to arrange for your engineer to fit it.
For parts and labour warranties
Complete the form with a detailed description of the fault. We will review the information and contact the relevant supplier to arrange the appropriate service support.
What information should I include?
Where possible, please include:
- Your Empire Supplies order number
- The product name, model and serial number
- A detailed description of the fault
- Any error codes displayed by the equipment
- Clear photographs or a short video of the problem
- Installation details where relevant
- A qualified engineer’s report for parts-only claims
Supplying this information at the beginning can reduce delays and help us identify the correct warranty route.
